2 Timothy 4:14-22

^14 (A)Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm; ^(B)the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. ¹⁵ Be on guard against him yourself too, for he vigorously opposed our ^[a]teaching.

¹⁶ At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; ^(C)may it not be counted against them. ¹⁷ But the Lord stood with me and ^(D)strengthened me, so that through me ^(E)the proclamation might ^[b]be ^(F)fully accomplished, and that all ^(G)the Gentiles might hear; and I was ^(H)rescued out of ^(I)the lion’s mouth. ¹⁸ The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will ^[c](J)bring me safely to His ^(K)heavenly kingdom; ^(L)to ^[d]Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
