14 (A)Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm; (B)the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. 15 Be on guard against him yourself too, for he vigorously opposed our [a]teaching.

16 At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; (C)may it not be counted against them. 17 But the Lord stood with me and (D)strengthened me, so that through me (E)the proclamation might [b]be (F)fully accomplished, and that all (G)the Gentiles might hear; and I was (H)rescued out of (I)the lion’s mouth. 18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will [c](J)bring me safely to His (K)heavenly kingdom; (L)to [d]Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

19 Greet Prisca and (M)Aquila, and (N)the household of Onesiphorus. 20 (O)Erastus remained at (P)Corinth, but I left (Q)Trophimus sick at (R)Miletus. 21 (S)Make every effort to come before (T)winter. Eubulus greets you, also Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers and sisters.

22 (U)The Lord be with your spirit. (V)Grace be with you.
